I didnt even want him to re-hab it and come back last season, but he did and then he took that one, fairly soft looking shot, and thats it. Thats his career.

The guy is 30 years old but we're not talking about a sprained ankle we're talking about the thing that keeps his head safely connected to his shoulders.

But I really understand the pressure these guys are under to maximize their earning potential during their careers.

So yeah, I'm really happy to hear this news. The guy still gets paid and hes not risking very, very serious injury that will have consequences for the rest of his life.
Plus the neck serves as a channel for the entire nervous system. Not only can neck injuries result in chronic pain that lasts a lifetime, it can also mess with almost all other parts of the body
