I found it interesting that he references the good old days when Jason Spezza scored 60 points and signed a $1.5 million contract suggesting the young kids have it too easy these days.
I can only imaging how many 60 point scorers from the 80's who were paid $125k a year thought the world was going to pot when Jason Spezza signed for $1.5 million.
That's how things work. In 20 years, this generation of NHLer will look in awe at the next generation of 60 point players that sign for $10 million.
