Calgary Transit already has the highest per capita transit usage in North America with more than 200,000 riders per day. Also, believe it or not, it's actually not a bad system comparatively speaking because it was built to handle the 1988 Olympics and has since been upgraded. Go to Montreal where the last expansion was in the 60s....
They know there are issues and are working on them... they get fixed faster if people would STFU about the roads. You'll notice there are more trains running more often during peak times already, that's the first step. Making each platform hold 4 cars will be the next step.
So I plead with all you drivers out there to shut up about the damn roads for a couple years while transit catches up!
Back on topic, I think it's pretty. It's unique in both shape and colour, and will certainly add to downtown. Only disappointment is that it will block the view of the Calgary Tower from the North and North East.
