I don't endorse unethical treatment of my food sources either, and in that respect, then yes, industry standards need to be above board. Humane practices should be established. Wholeheartedly in agreement.

But really, the issue here is the treatment of an animal that was in no way harvested for human consumption. It was cruelty plain and simple and because it happened locally it becomes noteworthy.

It's not the time for enraged vegetarians to lecture against the sins of us omnivores. It's one of localized cruelty, and I think we're all in agreement that this incident is disturbing.
Well said. Every single one of can agree that these kids are mentally disturbed and deserve more than a fine and a few months of probabtion.

I'm just interjecting a thought. Like one of my favoirite comics says, we only want to save the cute animals. What are you? A cow? get on the truck!


Who's enraged? I may have tipped my hand but I don't tell anyone what they should eat or shouldn't.
