You're confusing easily-rattled with looking at an 18 year old on the biggest stage of his life trying to impress, and cautioning that may indicative of his play moving forward.
I think a little over exuberance in his first game with Flames logo can be excused without being a major concern. Especially considering that aggressiveness is going to be a huge component of what makes him successful moving forward.
The fact you scoffed at the idea you're missing any sense of the context here is telling.
