The reaction here is feels like it's three million dollars, not six hundred thousand. Do you really think this amount of money is going to cripple our cap? We have two players who may not even make the opening night roster (Chiasson and Vey) that make $700,000-800,000 who I would be surprised if we couldn't unload for a low draft pick or future considerations.
Also if Smid is on LTIR this issue will matter even less. Of all the issues that we beat to death here, this is one of them that really is ridiculous.
