Most definitely bad money. Then add Bollig's $1.25 million. More bad money.
Additionally, Stajan and Bouma combine for $5.325 million next year. That's looks like bad money too from where I'm sitting. Some like what those guys bring but even if you are extremely generous about it, those contracts are merely mediocre from a value perspective.
That's $15.575 million that the Flames would be a lot better off not having on the books. It'd be fine if the management didn't need the flexibility to sign one of the most dynamic players to come through the franchise in years.
