I would happier than a pig in #### if Rogers ever sold the Blue Jays. That's not going to happen though, this is their little cash cow.
They will likely never win a World Series with Rogers as owner though. They won't funnel a single a profit back into the team to allow them to take that last step, and they don't have the stomach for a full on rebuild. A never ending cycle. Last year was as close as they are ever going to get with Rogers. Lighting was caught in a bottle.
I actually would just wish they would flat out come out and say, we don't think we can win with what it is we are doing, we are changing our approach and will stick to it for the longterm.
The good news is, it's looks like the Jays may actually be doing that with their recent hirings dating back to Shapiro.
