If Apple were crafty, they'd sell all of their headphones as lightning only, and include a lighting to 3.5mm adapter, so you had to use that on other devices. It would make people think, ugh, I need to use this other adapter if I want to use my sweet headphones with anything other than an iPhone. I'm never buying something without lightning again!
