It's different for everyone. I got season tickets up there last year and renewed again this year. I used to buy game packs but I love the flexibility of having tickets to every game and being there for all the premier games. Its interesting to see the atmosphere change from game to game depending on opponent or what night it is.
I split season tickets in Row 2 near centre ice for a couple of years. They are surprisingly good seats for the money. I think season tickets there are under or around $1200 bucks which is pretty impressive. If you compare these seats to higher 2nd bowl corner or end seats I don't know why you would even bother with the second bowl, especially factoring in the price differential. Obviously its just my opinion but I find the sight lines to be far superior.
