With bonuses he makes, what, $3-$3.5M. So sure he gets to make about $3-$3.5M extra this year. That's it. You've gotta think he loses at least that by negotiating this contract without the threat of an offer sheet.
Maybe I'm wrong. It just seems like he didn't really come out ahead on that one.
