The CFL is a pretty far stretch from being considered a minor league NFL. Some players do obviously cross over and continue to try to achieve a career in the NFL but the CFL isn't really filled with the best non-NFL talent. I actually think it would be awesome for the CFL to adjust their model and try to align with the NFL as a minor or development league for NFL talent. With an NFL partnership and some additional funding they could probably expand the league into some American markets and grow the talent pool, salaries and TV rights.
