Going to hijack this thread for my own gain now that I have decided I will be in Halifax for two days. I am with my wife, I want to try as many different craft beers as possible but she isn't a beer drinker. She enjoys touring things, I enjoy fishing, anyway to combine those two?
Hrmm this thread is making me want to drive that trail, but I just don't think we would have time for both. Sussex to Breton looks to be a full day drive, about the same distance as Saskatoon to Calgary but probably not as fast of a drive with the boring plains allowing you to basically fall asleep. So that would be our entire Thursday, get somewhere in the area Thursday night.. spend part of Friday driving the trail then down into Halifax, and have Friday night/Saturday/Sunday (flight doesn't leave till 7:30 PM Sunday) in Halifax. We could also drive part of the way Wednesday night.. if there is a good place to stop halfway or so between for food and drinks.
