Follow-up question: We set our thermostat at 23.5C. However, the reason it is so high is the thermostat is in a small hallway and has a heat vent very close by. As such, that hallway heats up much fast than the rest of the house. I'd ballpark the house to be at 22.0C most of the time.

I turn the "heat" part of mine off, so it doesn't kick on when the temp gets low, but not unmanageable . Some spring or fall mornings are cool, but I know it is going to warm up naturally so I don't want it kicking on when unnecessary. I could go and reprogram the temps, but clicking the heat off button is easier.
