Meanwhile, one half of our tire fire goalie tandem spent most of three years wearing these.
Tim Thomas wore white when he threw up a .940 save % and won the Conn Smythe but I'll not let something that undermines my argument prevent me from posting this.
Good goalies stop the puck. If they prefer white and that gets them through the day, fine. But any benefits gained are psychological on behalf of the goalie. White pads are not making Tyler Seguin's life more difficult.
