Yah, this happened to us, but luckily we only had one visit from the inspector. We had a ton of hail damage in our area and I thought I saw some issues with our shingles so I called TD meloche monnexe and the CSR said "yup, always better to be safe than sorry." Roof got inspected and turns out there are no issues. A few years later we can't get TD to insure our new house at a reasonable rate and we sign up with a new insurer and they say "it says here you have a claim" even though we never did submit a claim for hail damage.
We are with Intact now and going through a not at fault auto claim and honestly the customer service hasn't been great either, so I'm at the point where I feel like it's all the same anyways.
