I wonder how Monahan's agent explained his split problem? Gaudreau only had 4 less road points in 2 less road games (Monahan had a 3 point night at Arizona when Johnny was resting from injury - a team Johnny usually feasts on).
So in the 39 games they played together, Monahan had 23 points while shooting at 16.5% while Johnny had 22 points while shooting at 6.7%. I wonder who will have more road points next season?
Of course, everyone already knows the shooting percentage was a huge part of why Johnny had such significant splits, but alas.
