Here are some of my favourites out of the 20 or so I listen to:
Planet Money (NPR) - theoretically topics are about economics, but they are pretty wide ranging. Roughly 20 minutes per episode.
Under the Influence from CBC Radio - anecdotes about marketing, roughly 30 minutes
Gastropod - history of various foods, around 45 minutes per episode
Common Sense with Dan Carlin - US politics, roughly an hour per episode
99% Invisible - theoretically topics are about design, but they are pretty wide ranging, around 20 minutes
Hello Internet - two YouTube video makers (CGP Grey & Brady Haran) talk about random stuff, much more interesting than it sounds. Episodes are generally 90-120 minutes.
More or Less: Behind the Stats - A BBC podcast investigating the truth behind statistics reported in the media, full episodes are 30 minutes, the "World" version podcasts are 10 minutes.
