I see Gaudreau kind of like the Steph Curry of the NHL as he is undersized but does things that make people's jaws drop. I know the NBA is happy to have Curry in a big market and I could see Johnny's agent pushing for the same thing. That is me with my tinfoil cap on though.

That is all fine and good, but the fact remains that NHL player endorsements are just not that lucrative compared to their NHL contracts. I don't see this suddenly about to change with Gaudreau's increasing popularity.
