I just don't see blacks matching the dictionary definition term of "oppressed" in America today. That's a severe term that I file more for Jim Crow era blacks, Apartheid South Africa, or Jews in Nazi Europe just to name a few. Furthermore, I believe using such severe language tends to just inflame tensions instead of making things better.
Now if you want to argue with either of those two points that's fine, but instead you took the bobblehead position of pretending I said there were no issues whatsoever. Neither of you have actually engaged me on my position. I was going to let it go since no one wants to read this debate in an NFL thread but I've noticed this as a trend on CP where people see what they want to see in certain positions and boil that argument down to an easily attackable straw man. Again, I NEVER SAID RACE RELATIONS IN THE USA ARE PERFECT.
And you're right, I am lucky this is tucked away because odds are it would have garnered probably a page and a half of posts like yours, with the usual "hahas", "
oh yeah everything is great in the USA, you should tell someone, glad you solved it, okie dokie then" and some "Wow"s thrown in for good measure. There could have been a possible benefit there in that maybe you'd see how unoriginal and boring your garbage post is then but somehow I doubt it.
