Yeah I agree. We ran into quite a few very nice people at the dog beaches that were pretty normal and although I did run into a lot of senior citizens they were all very nice and I recognize that they can be lonely so I don't mind chatting up with them and such. I'm sure there are people in Kelowna as depicted in that video but it's not like they are at every corner. For me maybe the biggest thing was the sheer amount of backpackers, hobos, and homeless. You walk down the streets with your young children and some of these guys look like they just woke up in the ditch with soiled cloths, ratty hair, and a smoke burning between their fingers. Got a lot of; "Daddy is that a homeless person". None of them bothered us but it's just that there's a lot of them around.
