I have no idea if he does or not, but I would hope kaepernick is backing up all this politicizing by donating large amounts of money and time to poor communities. There's no end to the range of differences he could make, from paying for kids to go to school, to affordable housing, to mentoring young black males to stop the cycle of teen pregnancy and single motherhood.
I don't have an issue with him sitting for the anthem, but saying people of color are "oppressed" is a bit of hyperbolic language IMO, especially if he's not willing to help as well.
