It is fair, but the poor play of especially Hiller last season cannot be understated, which is exactly what the quote in ricardodw's post attempts to do. I remember seeing a breakdown from last year that showed Hiller's high-danger area save percentage fairly close to average, but his medium- and low-danger area SPs were both astonishingly low. Sure, the Flames need to play better in the defensive zone, but goaltending was shockingly bad last year.
