Come on - of course I'm not suggesting he should have pulled off some miracle. I am suggesting that simply hoping the guys you had were going to play better was not the only option if playoffs were your true goal.
What do you think it would have cost to get Chad Johnson out of Buffalo? Could that have helped? Or Montoya maybe?
