If he breaks his neck he has insurance he will still be rich but that isn't going to happen and if I'm him if I feel the flames are low balling me I play in tourney no deal knowing he won't lose $45 mil if he gets hurt.

No one said there is much of a chance of a career ending injury (but there
is a chance). But even a concussion or a serious shoulder or knee injury would result in a contract for less money.
