A place to wage the ongoing war between the maniacs and ###holes!

What is your take on the left lane/right lane conundrum and passing controversy on highways? Think that other person's opinion makes them either a maniac or an ###hole? Let them know here, and only here...as in not in the Funny and Cool Picture and Video Thread.


To start, I stay predominantly in the right lane when on the highway and only use the left to pass. If I'm already in the left and passing a convey of slower people, I will stay there and tend not to speed up for the maniacs behind me...but I get over into the right at first opportunity.

The only time I speed up is if the ###hole in the right lane can't decide on a speed and I'm stuck trying to pass them for an extended period and I'm building my own convey. Chances are, the ###hole will soon choose a new speed and pass me somewhere along the road. ###hole.

With that said I'm perplexed that this thread will continue beyond that common sense statement, but it seems we have a very passionate left/right divide not seen in another other similar public sphere.
