But you seem like a numbers type guy, and not a feel type guy. And the numbers show, in every single way, that Travis has to be the starting 2B no matter what. Having the luxury of a 3.3 WAR player on the bench is a fantastic thing, and a great insurance policy.
You feel that Travis' defence doesn't make up for his bat, but the numbers tell a different story. WAR isn't an exact science, but as far as baseball goes it's as close as it comes to a perfect all encompassing measure of a players value (position players more so, pitchers WAR is imperfect science IMO).

Yeah I know what the numbers say, but Travis' D scares me. It didn't for the most of the year, but it has the past few weeks. Big scores cover up poor D, but when we we are in one of our offensive ruts, 1 run can really screw us.
