Nope. The diameter would be off, so your speedometer and odometer would be wrong. You can find tire size converters all over the place but I believe the tire size you'd want to put on a 17 inch rim would be 255/45/r17.

You also need to know the correct offset and depth of the wheel if you're getting an aftermarket wheel, to make sure it'll actually fit on your car. If your current wheel is 18x7.5 and you get something that's 18x9 it might not work, or you might need spacers or additional messing around to make them fit.

Also note that the bolt pattern on any new wheel needs to fit 5x4.5 bolts (I'm pretty sure Scion uses the same bolt pattern as Toyota / Lexus / most Japanese cars)
