A see him pretty much as a 1 dimensional player. But that 1 dimension is hard to find and he is elite at it.
You need a balance.
I do believe that to win in the NHL you need a mix of guys. Chicago is successful because of Kane and Toews. Without one, the other is far less effective. LA's entire game is driven by the elite two way play of Doughty and Kopitar. Bergeron is arguably the most important guy for Boston's really good teams.
But a guy like Johnny is important because he's a game breaker and when you are trailing or tied late in the game, and need a goal, he can be a guy that goes and gets it.
