I would hope that would be the case. Based on Millions read of the situation, it sounds like Treliving would be ok waiting if Johnny wanted more than Gio.
I really really hope that's not the approach being taken. . . Johnny has proven just as much as guys like Ekblad and Tarasenko had before their big contracts, it's quite ridiculous to say he still has to prove he's worth a big long term deal after what he's done, and I'm sure Gross is thinking the same.
