Funny I had the exact opposite rant on the weekend. I love all the plastic on my truck. No more rust. I know the old guys will say plastic breaks when you hit something but the simple solution is to not hit anything. Plastic is lighter (more efficient), cheaper to produce (cheaper for the consumer) and doesn't rust (last longer). Win, win, win.
