The killer in this series is that Osuna blew that Save on Friday night in a game they lead the whole way which made that one into a loss where they had already used up two of their top level guys. Than to follow it up with another close game the next night where the `A' Group of relievers were used up on Saturday to cover 5 innings. This put the Jays in a position where their three best relievers were all not available for Sunday to help with another close game.
Conversely Cleveland never really used up any of their top tier guys as Manship threw one inning on both Friday and Saturday, but both Miller and Allen were still good and fresh for Sunday. I mean a 3 game series and they didn't even have to deploy Andrew Miller once and wins two games by one run. Something went right for you.
Had Travis made that play on Saturday and Sanchez is able to last for 6 or 7 innings, maybe the whole dynamic changes.
Previous to this, I can't really remember the last time the bull pen blew a lead that they had. They lost those long games against Baltimore and Houston, and Cleveland, but those were more a case of running out of gas and losing tied games.
I think the Jays A group of pitchers is genrally
