Just how I see it. I could see Hamilton climbing up the list this year though. Not sure where Brouwer factors in but he's probably solidly in that third tier.

I know it's fashionable for flames fans to think Brodie is the teams best player, but again he might not even be the best defenseman on his team. He might not even be a top 10 defenseman in the league. He hasn't made an Olympic or World Cup team. Alone, in the view of team canada decision makers, there are at least 7 Canadian defenseman who are better. Factor in all the other countries and there you have it.
At the end of their careers how many olmpics/world cups do you see Brodie & gaudreau playing in?
