I was trying to think of why I connect to them so much.

I remember as 9-10 year old watching much music and seeing them on there. I really enjoyed 100th meridian. I remember thinking how goofy the lead singer was. Whenever a new album came out people complained about them being overplayed/raved about them . But their songs stuck around and stayed on the airwaves. At the pub or a party it was likely multiple hip songs played. In university i was really into them. I remember listening to them while I studied and at parties etc.

I essentially grew up with them and they were a constant part of the life. Like a cousin that comes and goes, you have great times with, but may not see for years. Part of what my feeling is right now is guilt in not listening more and taking them for granted.
