College Transfer Credits -- Help
Hi folks...
I have a small problem.
I went to Medicine Hat College from 01/03. I was awarded 4 or 5 transferable program credits to my current program at MRC (So 4 programs, worth 3 or 4 credits each) (I found out today). My grades in the hat were not good, and as such, I decided I would take Political Science as an option.
I find out today, that I have these credits that I could of used.
My question is, should I choose to drop my poli-sci class, I know I would get a "W" grade. If i was to substitute that class with a transfer of credits, how does that affect my GPA?
I am under the impression that it is listed as "TR". But does it count against my GPA? THe sole reason I didn't want to use them, or does it just say I had previous credit etc?
Basically, I really want to drop the class, but if that means that my GPA will be reflected by the marks i got in MHC, then there is no use. If it doesn't, then i'll take the loss of $$ for the gained time that could be well used towards other classes.
I repeated myself there quite a bit..
oh yeah...
How bad is getting a "w" on your transcripts?
