I've been doing some reading and I think the Telus deal I got offered is actually pretty crappy. People (that are existing customers) have been negotiating more TV channels and unlimited internet for less than my introductory price, and have promo pricing for 12 months instead of the 6 I got. I'm going to have to call in and negotiate something much better before I get Telus installed, which I'm now pretty set on with the 150/150.

For people who have been on Telus Fibre for a while, how is it for gaming? I play mostly Blizzard games, and my pings for WoW and Overwatch have been steadily creeping up over time. I'm now usually at around 70-80 ms for each, never much lower, some occasional spikes up higher. I notice sometimes on nights with big TV events like Game of Thrones I notice latency spikes with Shaw, even though nobody in my house is watching or streaming anything at the time. It's pretty annoying.
