Old thread bump alert!
Looking to get a hitch installed on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
I've never towed anything before and couldn't be more clueless on the subject. I do know that my Jeep is rated to tow 3500lbs max and that the things I imagine pulling are rented Sea-doos, ATV's, Ski-doo's, a Pop-up tent trailer, a utility trailer, a U-haul moving trailer or mounting a bike rack or metal basket for extra storage.
With that in mind, I'm wondering about hitches and where to get one. Preliminary googling tells me they can be bolted on or welded on. Wondering what is recommended and where is an affordable yet quality place to go in Calgary (with quality having more importance). Thanks in advance.
