Hitron and Cisco modems for upstream go from 5-85 MHz. To Increase the upstream bandwidth to 15 Mbps, they freed up those carriers already within the 2 years of upgrades. In any event Docsis 3.1 will address the upstream bandwidth anyways, which is said to deploy across shaw's footprint by end of next year.
