A while ago, Natalie told James that she thought Paulie didn't really like Z, and she complained to him that he followed her (Nat) around and flirted with her all the time.

Zakiyah/Paulie were a thing pretty much from the start, so Natalie first tried to latch onto Corey (fail), Victor (fail), and then finally James.

Natalie had been flirting with Paulie behind Zakiyah's back, and even went as far as to joke with Bridgette that Paulie was her (Nat's) future husband.

She wanted Paulie, and as soon as she found out he hated her, she was on a mission to ruin his game. Mission successful.
