Eventually the "more to do" gets tired too and then you start to see the worse side of living in a bigger but still not "big" city. I thought Vancouver was awesome the first time I went there. Now I couldn't ever spend more than a weekend there. Your post started so good then went to just plain ignorance.
Larger cities are more than just a few more bars and restaurants. There are more options for entertainment, which IMO is the biggest difference; Denver has the NFL, NBA and MLB, while drawing in better musical acts. Colborne also knows what he is getting in Denver as he went to college there.
