It's not hard to win a seat in this province. As long as you say things like "no more spending" and "the gravy train stops here", a mutant chihuahua wearing a clown costume could get into office. And as long as you appear to be putting your foot down on anything at all, even the most petty and irrelevant initiatives, you can magnify your mole hills and there will always be a crowd who loves that sort of thing.
