The problem I have with Kanzig is he was much bigger than all his peers and probably can't improve much physically (the whole 5 of 7% body fat thing). At the WHL level those are pretty huge advantages and I don't think he stood out much. Each time I have seen him in Penticton the last few years he has struggled. Even if he does make some strides in the right direction, it is getting awfully crowded on the blueline and if he gets a cup of coffee it will probably be with another team through a Granlund type trade.
