I am not saying that Johnny is the best player in Flames history, but as a serious fan since ~'84, Johnny is easily the most impressive player I have seen on the Flames. Not a single player had the magic Johnny seems to have in terms of determining what takes place on the ice. Literally every time he has the puck a dangerous and unusual situation is created which creates pure chaos for the other team. The era for a guy like Johnny is certainly now, and we need to lock him up.
