Fair enough. I misquoted you, but I still think it is a stretch to group him in with such a distinguished class based on two seasons. Potentially an all-time NHLer, but still just a very young player with a lot of room to grow his game.
Maybe I'm old school, but I'd like to see a conn smythe or an art Ross or two before I start calling him one of the best.
He's great, though and deserves to be paid. Maybe the bridge deal is the answer.
