I never said Gaudreau was the best player in franchise history. At this point, that's an insane thing to say. Iginla, Fleury, Nieuwendyk, Lanny... even Nilsson could be ahead of him. But, I stand by my comment that Gaudreau is one of the best Flames ever. Heck, by the time he retires, he could be the undisputed best Flame in history. He has that potential, and deserves to be PAID.
