The bolded could be taken a number of ways. It's entirely possible she wants to go out into the country and retrieve all the AR-15s, but it seems more likely she'd want to reign in things like open-carrying assault weapons, and regulating how one could transport high capacity or high powered weaponry.
Maybe that's giving her too much credit; I don't believe it is, but what do I know.
