Okay, I have a lot of audio equipment but I know absolutely nothing about the Apple ecosystem but I need to help a friend do some semi-professional recording or music production on her iPad Pro (Garage Band?) for an event.

What's the easiest way to get audio from a mixer into an iPad Pro? Is there a lightning port adapter that splits out to a 3.5mm mic/input jack? Is there an affordable USB audio interface for iPads? What's the best method that we can get locally on a short notice? Is there a simple cable to get audio input into the TRRS 3.5mm jack that normally accepts microphone input from a set of headphones?
