His character is pretty much his main message. He keeps saying that people should vote for him because he is so awesome and his awesomeness would make him a great president. So, let's talk about that. Is he somehow awesome? What exactly is his personality? The results of this public discussion are not turning out to be pretty, but again I would argue that he totally asked for all of this. He has made such a big deal about his outrageous personality that he has almost been begging for outrageous questions about his personality.
Second, what's there really to say about Trumps policies? He talks about it so little and it's so confusing that there only public discussion people could have about that is "does he have policies"? That's not a very long discussion.

That's the point. What if, for instance, he had a charming personality. Would that make him more suitable to be president?
As for his policies, I think they generally are economic, immigration, and role-of-government related.
The economic ones alone should disqualify him. He believes in restricting trade, and repatriating "jobs" through artificial means and government policy.
Immigration, he is obviously restrictive, which we know is counter to good economic development, but is also related to his economic policy.
