Perhaps it's not your particular brand of humor, but let's not run in here acting like the censorship police.
I get that people don't think foxy boxing or pole dancing should be Olympic events. They're not serious, they're kidding. These types of female-demeaning comments are socially acceptable. I'm saying that's part of the problem.

Your argument also doesn't fly. A joke about old world mentality towards women would be a comment about how cooking and cleaning (traditional female 'household' roles) should be Olympic events, since javelin and shooting (traditional male 'hunter' roles) are. Saying foxy boxing and female pillow fight should be events says nothing about old world mentality. It only elicits women in a sexualized manner. Haha -- women should perform sexualized events for my pleasure. You're right, I don't get the joke.

People learned not to use the n-word to refer to blacks. People learned not to use the word 'gay' to refer to something silly / inferior. These are terms that subconsciously breed intolerance and homophobia. I think its time that our culture no longer accepts flippant comments that reduce women to sexualized objects. "I'd f--- that" "I want to do ____ to her". I completely understand that it doesn't seem like a big deal to make comments like this. That's the way our culture is. But I think it needs to change, so I feel a need to speak up. We celebrate the objectification of women. That's a not a message that should be thrown around so casually in society, and it comes with much deeper societal consequences.
