Are my budgetary expectations way off?

In my mind $200M+ is a blockbuster. That is a huge amount of money for a film.

For instance, Star Wars I think cost $190M and obviously made a huge amount of money, how is Suicide Squad costing $200M?

BvS was a blockbuster, had lots of characters/actors and seem to go on forever, so yeah, its budget is going to be higher, but it was also supposed to be a Franchise Flagship project.

What did the Avengers movies cost to make?
